Vom 14.-22. Juli 2018 findet die FIBA U20 European Championship 2018 in Deutschland statt. Der Deutsche Basketball Bund und die Stadt Chemnitz sind Partner der Ausrichtung dieses tollen Events. Viele der besten Nachwuchs-Basketballer Europas kommen nach Deutschland, einige davon werden sich zu Superstars unserer schönen Sportart entwickeln. Der Deutsche Basketball Bund und seine U20-Nationalmannschaft sind stolz und froh über dieses „Heimspiel“ und freuen sich riesig auf Spitzenbasketball in Chemnitz.

Events von solcher Größe sind nur durch die freiwillige, tatkräftige und hochmotivierte Hilfe von Volunteers zu stemmen. Daher brauchen wir Sie, Ihre Begeisterung, Ihr Engagement und Ihren Einsatz, um aus der U20-EM in Chemnitz eine ganz besondere Veranstaltung zu machen. Seien Sie ein wichtiger Teil dieser Titelkämpfe, tragen Sie mit dazu bei, dass das Event noch lange in aller Munde sein wird. Sorgen Sie mit Ihrem freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Auftreten dafür, dass die Teams und Gäste aus ganz Europa von Deutschland als Ausrichter schwärmen.

Volunteers FIBA U20 European Championship 2018

From July 14th – 22nd, 2018, Germany is thrilled to a big international basketball competition –  the FIBA U20 European Championship 2018. The German Basketball Federation and the city of Chemnitz are proud partners of this great event. Many of Europe´s best basketball players at this age group will come to Germany; some of them will be later superstars of our wonderful sport. The German Basketball Federation and its U20 national team are thrilled for the “homegames” and are looking forward to high class basketball in Chemnitz.

Events of such size are only conductible with the voluntary, energetic and highly motivated help of volunteers. And that is why we need you along with your motivation, your commitment and your support to make the U20 EC very special event. Be an important part of this competition and contribute to our goal, that this event will be remembered for a long time. Your friendly and helpful behavior will have teams and all guests enthuse about Germany as a host.

We guarantee you that you will gather unforgettable experiences as well as great memories and that you will meet many interesting people. These impressions will last a lifetime.
