Coach Clinic im Rahmen des 30. Albert Schweitzer Turniers. Ausgerichtet wird die Veranstaltung in Viernheim vom 04. – 06. April 2024 durch die Bundesakademie des Deutschen Basketball Bundes in Kooperation mit der FIBA Europe. Dazu wurden mit Jorgé Ramón „Jota“ Cuspinera, Aleksandar Džikić und Dirk Bauermann drei namhafte Referenten verpflichtet.

Los geht es mit der Coach Clinic am Donnerstag, 04. April 2024, ab 11.00 Uhr mit dem Check-In in Viernheim, ehe von 13.00 – 16.45 Uhr die ersten Unterrichtseinheiten folgen. Mit dem Vortrag der vivida BKK zum Thema „Brain Kinetik im Sport“ beschließt der erste Teil der Clinic. Auf den theoretischen Input folgend stehen dann die beiden AST-Begegnungen zwischen Slowenien und Australien sowie zwischen Deutschland (U18) und Japan auf dem Programm.

Ein ähnlicher Theorie-Praxis-Mix ist auch für den Freitag geplant. Im Anschluss an die Vorträge von 9.30 – 16.00 Uhr schauen die Teilnehmenden gemeinsam die beiden Halbfinals. Zum Abschluss stehen am Samstag vier weitere Spiele des prestigeträchtigen U18-Events an, darunter das Spiel um Platz 3 sowie das Spiel um den Titel.

In der Anmeldegebühr in Höhe von 319 Euro sind die AST-Tickets für die drei Clinic-Tage bereits enthalten. Ebenfalls wird für kleine Snacks und Getränke gesorgt. Am Freitag ist ein Mittagessen inklusive. Die Unterrichtseinheiten finden in der Sporthalle der Alexander-von-Humboldt-Schule in Viernheim statt. Die Coach Clinic gilt wie immer als Fortbildung zur Lizenzverlängerung der A- und B-Lizenzen. Dazu gibt es eine Kooperation mit dem Basketballverband Baden-Württemberg und dem Basketballverband Hessen für C-Trainer:innen. Andere Landesverbände auf Anfrage.

The event will be hosted in Viernheim from April 4th-6th, 2024 by the German Basketball Federation in cooperation with FIBA Europe. Three renowned speakers have been selected for the event: Jorgé Ramón „Jota“ Cuspinera, Aleksandar Džikić and Dirk Bauermann.

The Coach Clinic will kick off on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at 11.00 a.m. with the check-in in Viernheim, before the first teaching units follow from 1.00 – 4.45 p.m. The last part of the clinic will conclude with a presentation by vivida BKK on the topic of „Brain Kinetics in Sport“. The theoretical input will be followed by the two AST matches between Slovenia and Australia and between Germany (U18) and Japan.

A similar mix of theory and practice is also planned for Friday. Following the presentations from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the participants will watch the two semi-finals together. Finally, four more matches of the prestigious U18 event are scheduled for Saturday, including the match for third place and the match for the title.

The registration fee of 319 euros already includes the AST game tickets for the three clinic days. Snacks and drinks will also be provided. Lunch is included on Friday. The sessions will take place in the sports hall of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Schule in Viernheim. As always, the Coach Clinic counts for the renewal of A and B licenses. There is also a cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Basketball Association and the Hessen Basketball Association for C coaches. Other state associations on request.

The games of the Albert Schweitzer Tournament take place in the GBG-Halle Am Herzogenried, August-Kuhn-Str. 35 68167 Mannheim. Coaches with an A or B license from the DBB can extend their license by participating fully (compulsory attendance on all days) in the advanced training course. Recognition for the extension of C licenses must be requested from the responsible
state association. All basketball coaches with or without a coaching license are eligible to participate.

Target group: All performance-oriented coaches from the male youth sector. Tickets for the games of the Albert Schweitzer Tournament (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) are included in the price! Accommodation costs are not included in the price. The number of participants is unlimited.
