Schweden für Australien bei den Jungen | Serbien für Neuseeland bei den Mädchen | Sweden replaces Australia in the boys‘ competition | Serbia replaces New Zealand in the girls‘ competition
Beim 31. Albert Schweitzer Turnier (AST) vom 04.-11. April 2026 gibt es zwei Änderungen im Teilnehmerfeld. Im Turnier der U18-Jungen wird Titelverteidiger Australien durch Schweden ersetzt. Es gibt also in jedem Fall einen neuen Titelträger. Mit Schweden kommt eine Mannschaft hinzu, die bereits zum zehnten Mal beim AST dabei ist. Bisher steht der vierte Platz vom AST 1985 als bestes Resultat.
Beim erstmals stattfindenden 4-Nationen-Mädchen-Turnier geht Serbien für Neuseeland an den Start. Dementsprechend hat sich auch der Spielplan leicht verändert (siehe Link unten).

There will be two changes to the field of participants at the 31st Albert Schweitzer Tournament (AST) from April 4-11, 2026. In the U18 boys‘ tournament, defending champion Australia will be replaced by Sweden. This means that there will definitely be a new title holder. Sweden is a team that is participating in the AST for the tenth time. So far, their best result is fourth place at the 1985 AST.
In the 4-nation girls‘ tournament, which is being held for the first time, Serbia will replace New Zealand. Accordingly, the schedule has also changed slightly (see link above).
